Our Church History<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Pastor Chao started the worldwide Bread of Life evangelistic meeting in 1947 in Shanghai, China. Our church was a church plant by River of Life Christian Church in Silicon Valley, and we started meeting in August of 2001.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nOur Vision<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

To make a lasting impression of our heavenly father in such a way that each child would begin to develop a personal relationship with Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u0153Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/em> — Proverbs 22:6 <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Our Goals<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

1. Create first impression and therefore lasting impression of our heavenly father through worship, prayer, and teaching.<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Partner with parents to establish biblical principles as foundations for decisions making now and in the future.<\/span><\/p>\n

3. Kids would know that \u00e2\u20ac\u201c I can trust God no matter what and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.<\/span><\/p>\n

Our Guiding Values<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Children learn best:<\/span><\/p>\n

1 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c\u00c2\u00a0 In an environment and through activities targeted to their age group<\/span><\/p>\n

2 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c\u00c2\u00a0 In an environment that is physically, emotionally and spiritually safe<\/span><\/p>\n

3 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c\u00c2\u00a0 When lessons are relevant and help them make a personal application<\/span><\/p>\n

4 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c \u00c2\u00a0In the context of a community group where shepherding takes place<\/span><\/p>\n

5 \u00e2\u20ac\u201c \u00c2\u00a0When Bible stories and truths are presented in engaging, creative ways<\/span><\/p>\n

CONNECT\u00c2\u00a0 Each Other – <\/strong> This is a place where we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122ll be known and know other people as we serve alongside with each other.\u00c2\u00a0 We understand that relationship is a key to spirit of unity, and we\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re contributing to a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153family project\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, not just checking off chores on the list.<\/span><\/p>\n

INCLUDE\u00c2\u00a0 Each Other –<\/strong> This is a place where we are encouraged to give inputs and ideas, and we will inform each other of our progress and direction as a ministry.<\/span><\/p>\n
